Give each person a role that matches how involved you want them to be — from a second admin (ideally the other parent) down to a lightly-included guest. New members go through admin approval, so you always stay in control of who's inside.
Private, and protected
Every family lives in its own isolated space, enforced at the database level so one family can never see another's content. Feed photos and comments are encrypted in transit and at rest. To provide the service our systems can technically process this content, but we never sell it or use it for advertising.

Is the family feed really private?
Yes. Your feed is invite-only and has no public profile or discovery. Only the family members you invite and approve can see it, and each family's space is isolated at the database level.
Are there ads or an algorithm?
No. There are no ads, no tracking-based targeting, and no engagement algorithm. Posts appear in the order they were shared, newest first.
Can grandparents who aren't techy use it?
Yes. It works in any web browser, can be installed to a phone's home screen, and a gentle weekly email digest means far-away family never misses a moment even if they rarely open the app.
